Hi guys

We had a busy peewee class at the chase on Monday. We split the class up into groups and worked on some basic kicks and punches and we worked a session on the bags! Some of the peewees are really showing signs of improvement some others need more work on their techniques but with time and concentration I’m sure they can progress.
The junior/senior class was busy Dave P took some new junior grade students and worked on basic stances and a front kick. I took some red belts and spent time working on their first kata pinan nidan, they done really well they need some work on stances but otherwise they know the moves and are confident. Dave A took the senior grades and worked on punch kick combination techniques and worked in pairs on set techniques working on blocking and counter techniques we did a session on the bags and finished working on pinan katas.
Tuesday session we worked the class together and worked on set techniques on the bags then we split up the class I worked with the junior grades and worked on basic blocks and counter techniques and finished working through pinan nidan. Dave P worked the rest of the class and worked on basic and combination techniques and finished working on senior katas.
Thursday session was quiet we worked the class together and work a session on the bags, we worked in pairs working on some set techniques and blocking combinations. We finished splitting the class up and working the juniors on pinan nidan and the senior grades on senior katas. For the senior class we did a session on the bags and worked on traditional stances and senior kata.
