Hi all

We had a busyish week, Monday we worked the peewee class on basics and combination techniques we worked them in pairs and worked on set basic blocks and counter attacks we worked a session on the bags working on multi techniques and movement.
The junior senior session we worked on bag work working on some set combination techniques then we worked 2 bags onto 1 evading the bags and fending them off with counter attacks this worked well and worked on movement and awareness aswel as cardio work. We worked a session in pairs working on set techniques working on some blocking and counter techniques. We finished the class working on some traditional techniques and pinan katas we also separated the class and seniors worked on some senior katas.
Tuesday we worked a session on the bags working on set techniques we also worked the 2 bags on 1 session which was a good exercise. We spent some time working on pinan and senior katas as well as some team katas.
Thursday we started working the class together on bag work working on some set techniques we then worked on a sparring session changing partners and working with different grades. We then split the class up, Nick took the juniors and worked on their basic kicks and punches and made a start learning their first kata. Dave A took the green belts and worked on pinan katas. I took the yellow and orange belts and worked on pinan nidan and Dave P took the senior grades and worked on some pinan and senior katas.
