Hi guys

We’ve had a busy week.
First if all I’d like to thank everyone who turned up to help out at our demo on Thursday the 23rd of April. It was a big success and Thankyou to the cubs who asked us to attend, everyone was on their best behaviour and we managed to enrol some new students which is fantastic!
Monday was our usual busy session the peewees were awarded their red belts so they were chuffed to bits and was so chuffed we never got much work out of them! But well done to all that passed!
The junior/senior class we worked on basics and combination techniques then split into pairs and worked on set block and punch combinations working on movement and reaction timing. We did a session on the bags and finished working on some pinan katas.
Tuesday was also really busy I took the juniors and worked on bag work and blocks and counter techniques and finished by learning their first kata, we got about half way through but with some practice I’m sure we can get them through the whole kata over the next few sessions. Dave p took little jack through his first grading which he had some good grades so he done well so hopefully he has done enough to achieve his red belt so good luck jack! Nick took the green belts and worked through grading syllabus work as they’re supposed to be grading soon, they’re is some work to do on their kata which needs work on stances and sharpness but with some extra effort I’m sure they will get there! Keep working at it guys.
Thursday we split the class up Dave p worked with the junior brown belts and worked on kata and khions which is needed for their next grade, they are looking sharp and are doing well.
We worked the rest of the class together and worked on set techniques on the bag then we moved on to some pairs work working on blocks and counters and finished working on pinan katas. For the senior class we worked on team kata which was challenging trying to move in unison and keeping the kata sharp and snappy! We all done really well and it was a success!

That’s it from me guys, have a fab weekend and I’ll catch you all soon!

Pete
