Hi guys

We had a busy class at the chase on Monday, for the peewee session we split the class up into groups and worked on basic kicks and punches and we worked through the 9th kyu grading syllabus to see who will be ready to take their gradings. There are a few students looking good but a few need more work so keep on working hard guys! For the junior senior class we split up into groups and worked on pairs work on set techniques and using our basic blocks and counters. We done some work on the bags and finished working on kata. Dave p took the senior grades and took their gradings, the grading went well so fingers crossed all will get the grades needed and achieve their next belt, good luck to all that graded.
Tuesday session we split up the class Nick took the green belts and worked through a mock grading working through their syllabus there is work to do on the traditional stances and kata but the rest of the syllabus work looked pretty good from what I could see! I worked with the senior grades and worked on bag work then we worked on set blocks and counters, we finished the class working on kata.
Thursday we had a busyish class I took Andy through his grading which he done really well and looked sharp so hopefully he has done enough to achieve his next grade. Dave A took Norbu through his first grading which he seemed to cope well with, it’s a basic grading with basic kicks and punches so it’s nothing that Norbu struggled with so hopefully he will have achieved his first grade. Nick worked with sib on the bags working on some cardio work. Dave A worked with the junior grades and worked on basic kicks and punches and worked on bag work. For the senior class we worked on kata.
We had a demonstration last week at the chase on a Tuesday night for the cubs! The demo was a success and the cubs we’re on their best behaviour and enjoyed our demo. Thanks to the cubs for asking us to the demo and thanks to our students who turned up to help out with the demo.

That’s it from me, have a good one guys

Pete
