Hi all,
We had a busy week, we had a few new juniors at the chase on Monday which is great. We split the class up and worked on basic kicks and punches we did some work using the techniques on the bags, the new guys done well for their first lesson. Dave P took the senior grades and worked them on their kata. For the senior class we worked in pairs on set techniques we worked on some intensive bagwork and finished off working on kata.
Tuesday night was busy we worked the class together on the bags on set techniques then we split up the class and worked on kata, there is some work to do for a few students to improve their kata.
Thursday night was busy and we all worked together on the bags to start with then we split the class up and I worked with Matthew on his kata which needs some work on his stances and sharpening up. Dave A worked with the junior grades and worked on their 1st kata which is coming along really well they will soon be leaning their 2nd kata. Nick took Norbu and worked on bagwork and kata which he is picking up the moves now and is starting to look the part. Dave P took the brown belts and worked them on their senior kata they are looking a lot better and sharp! For the senior class we worked together on basics and combinations and then we split up to work on kata, I also worked with Andy to perfect his back kick which is a lot better.
We are hoping to do some gradings in a few weeks so we are looking for those that are going to be ready! So work hard guys and prove to us you are ready and we will book in your gradings.
