Hi all

We had a busy class as usual at the chase. We worked the junior grades through some basic kicks and punching looking for those who are ready to take their first gradings, some are looking more than ready but a few may need a little longer although there won’t be a lot to expect from them for their first grade bearing in mind their age and capabilities etc. So keep working hard kids and you will soon have your red belts!
Dave p worked with the brown belts running through their syllabus work mainly on traditional stances and kata work we worked the rest of the class on some set techniques on the bags and had them paired up working on some combination kicks, we squeezed a bit of kata in for the green belts which is looking good. We had a busy senior class and worked on pairs work bag work and kata.
We had a busy class on Tuesday eve we worked an intensive session on the bags then we split up to work on their relevant katas my group was starting to learn their second kata and they are picking it up really quickly and are showing confidence in themselves.
Thursday eve we had gradings, Katy and Mia we’re taking their 2nd kyu gradings after months of intensive training so good luck to you guys hope all your hard work has payed off! Caitlin and Joe took their first grading and they seemed pretty confident with their techniques to prove they are worthy of their grade. Good luck to you guys too! I took Matthew through some basics and combinations and then I worked a couple of seniors in with my group and worked on bag work and kata work. For the senior class we worked on kions and kata.

That’s it from me see you next week bye for now

Pete
