Hi guys

Sorry I haven’t been blogging we had a half term break and I’ve been off with an injury but I’m back, just about!!
At the chase we had a busy class, we worked on basic techniques with the new junior beginners and did some thinking and co-ordinative stuff to keep them on their toes. They are coming along well considering their age and capabilities.
Dave p worked with the senior grade juniors working on set techniques traditional work and kata. We worked on a lot of pairs work with the rest of the class working through some set blocks and counter techniques and finished with some bag work and relay games. For the senior class we worked on similar stuff with set attacks and counter techniques using initiative and reaction speed work then we finished on pinan katas.
Tuesday at kenilworth was quiet we worked on pairs work on set techniques again mainly on blocks and counters which they seemed to cope really well with then we split the class and worked on their relevant katas which is coming along really well but always room for improvement!
Thursday at Warwick was busyish we worked most of the junior class together Dave p took a couple of senior grades and mainly worked on kata which was needed but looked good from what I could see. We worked the rest of the class on set techniques on the bags and pairs work working on blocking techniques and movement we got some work out of them but was hard work at times as techniques were rushed and corners were cut so back to basics I think guys!!
For the senior class we worked on bag work on set techniques and then split the class up and work on senior kata which was a little rusty so a much needed session.

That’s it from me see you next week
Have a good one!

Pete
